As Principal Solicitor of YLP – Your Legal Partner, it’s important for Maggie Yarak to create an accessible and inclusive environment for both staff and clients. Inspired by her sons, Samuel and Isaac, who are both on the autism spectrum, Maggie has created a unique environment and legal service that accommodates everyone.
At YLP – Your Legal Partner, we provide an inclusive work environment for all of our team. So, educating our team about autism spectrum disorder, the importance of inclusivity within the office, and the best strategies to assist clients with autism is paramount.
In fact, YLP – Your Legal Partner is the only law firm in Adelaide or South Australia to be accredited as autism-friendly and registered on the Autism Friendly Charter created by Autism SA. Our office has been designed specifically to provide comfort for those with sensory regulatory needs, and our team are always ready to assist when needed.
Additionally, Maggie is the Chairperson of the Modbury Special School Governing Council and has a voluntary role in assisting students, families, and staff of vulnerable people and children living with a disability.
