Alice is passionate about family law and the opportunity it brings to assist others during a difficult period of significant change following a relationship breakdown. Over the years, she has developed a wealth of professional and personal skills which have contributed to her knowledge of the law and a personal understanding of the often difficult, emotional journey experienced by parties with competing interests.
Over the years, Alice has worked as a family law solicitor in Adelaide, Melbourne, and England, gaining valuable experience working in a “big money matters” firm in the heart of Birmingham.
Alice also has advanced training in Collaborative Law, having obtained her qualification in 2009 at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
Between 2011 and 2019, Alice practised in her own firm and brought a solid base of organisational skills and knowledge when she joined YLP – Your Legal Partner.
With 20 years of family law experience behind her, Alice practises in all areas of family law, including divorce, matrimonial and de facto property settlements, parenting disputes including “live with” and “spend time with’ negotiations and applications, relocation, and childbirth applications. She encourages genuine and respectful negotiation between parties as a means of resolving disagreement about children and/or property matters.
Alice’s experience has been built upon a genuine understanding of clients’ needs arising from the breakdown of their relationship.
Alice is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
Outside work, Alice has two adult sons and a West Hyland Terrier, “Bonnie,” whom she loves walking and spending time with. Alice’s interests include travelling, meeting new people, all things French, learning la langue Francaise, long lazy Sunday lunches, leisurely drives in the country and cooking for family and friends.
